    Soundproof windows to reduce noise while on telephone.

Occupants of a neighbouring property were creating noise that was disturbing the doctors whilst consulting patients and on the telephone. With a limited budget available Sound Barrier designed, supplied and installed custom aluminium framed secondary windows inside the existing timber framed windows that reduced the noise levels significantly. As the building is air-conditioned the Sound Barrier windows also provided the added benefit of thermally insulating the windows, resulting in less heat transfer and lower airconditiong running costs. Sound Barrier timed the installation to cause minimal disturbance to the doctors, patients and staff of the practise.
