Sound Barrier recently completed complete window and door replacement of a two story house at East Lindfield with quality soundproof windows and soundproof doors designed to provide acoustic and thermal insulation.
The existing windows and doors were timber framed and due to the wide framing did not maximise the leafy view over Garigal National Park. In addition, an acrylic/magnetic secondary system had been installed inside many of the existing windows and doors. This system was disliked by the homeowners due to its poor appearance and the difficulty in accesing the windows for ventillation and doors for access.
Sound Barrier removed all the unsightly magnetic/acrylic glazing and the old timber windows and doors and fitted aluminium framed powder coated joinery, acoustically glazed and sealed. Sound Barrier provided new architraves, storm moulds and flyscreens.
The homeowners are very pleased with the overall result, especially the greatly improved and modernised aesthetics.
